USB Powered Beverage Chiller 0

We give it the full 8-hour endurance test!

Whenever I get emails about USB powered anything, I usually find them highly suspect. There seems to be some kind of renaissance of useless USB powered gadgets being showered upon us by an army of computer savvy Ron Popeils.

When I heard about the USB powered Beverage Chiller by Coolit Systems, I decided to put it to the test. Does it actually do what it purports itself to do, or is it just another crappy gizmo destined for the bargain bin at the Best Buy checkout line? Watch the following time-lapse video to find out:

EZ Yego USB Drive 0

Ridata crosses a flash drive with a USB hub, then cross breeds the offspring with a Lego.

Demand for more memory and better portability is steadily increasing, as well as our need for more USB ports for the myriad of devices that we have become dependant on. No one wants to be caught without enough memory to pirate the latest celebrity sex video, or no USB ports available for our USB ramen cookers and USB powered necktie fans. As a result, it only makes sense that someone has seen fit to combine these two functions in device.

With the EZ Yego USB Drive, you have at your disposal both a memory device and a USB hub, with each connectable unit branching off into two additional ports. This is particularly useful for those of us who work on multiple computers or use a laptop with limited USB ports. What it resembles is something like a Barrel Of Monkeys game, only slightly less fun and slightly more functional.

The drive comes in a variety of colors and capacities, ranging from 1 to 4 GB of memory. The 1 GB retails for less than $20 and the 4 GB is under $50.

Bandai Electronic Cat Paws 0

Dear God, why?!

The Neko Nyanbou is a fake cat paw with retractable claws that you can control with a switch in the handle. I’m not sure why anyone would want such a thing, but apparently these furries are lining up to get their twisted little mitts on one.

According to the informative Japanese illustrations that come with the Neko Nyanbou, it actually has many useful functions:

You can listen to it whisper sexy talk into your ear whilst talking to your mom on the phone, or use it to puncture and/or eviscerate the vertebrate of your sleeping co-worker! Pwned!

You can use it to make women grow ears and tails, who can then make million dollar (cat?) fur jackets magically appear out of thin air! You can start your own sex slave/freak show/sweatshop business! If you knew any women to begin with, that is!

You can use it to reheat coffee and attract mangy junkyard cats to do your bidding! Or is it “attract coffee and reheat mangy junkyard cats”? Either way, same difference.

You can keep the bully that sits in front of you in class cool on a hot day, and signal other furries that you too are a degenerate member of an abominable subclass of humanity!
