U-N-I and The Love (Taco) Supreme

Welcome to “Taco The Town”, CraveOnline’s badass new interview show!

Because we accidently set fire to our studio trying to re-create that one scene in “Weird Science” where the computer, like, gives birth to a super hot robot slave-babe, we’ll be talking to famous musicians, authors, balloon anamalists, alcoholic party clowns, sentient dolphins, actors and models in the one place that everyone can agree on: The Taco Stand!

Today we’ll be talking to hip-hop duo U-N-I, one of favorite young artists. Their new album, “A Love Supreme” calls to mind what was, in my opinion, the greatest era in hip-hop, when The Pharcyde, De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest were the top acts in the genre. U-N-I combines that early 90s good-time booty rap with ultra modern hip-hop electo and complex, positive ryhmes on what may well be one of the year’s hottest records. But don’t take my word for it, because what the hell do I know? Let them tell you, on location at Cinco De Mayo Tacos in beautiful sorta-ok downtown Culver City!

Also check out U-N-I’s new video for the song, “Hollywood Hiatus”
