Dahmer plus Gacy, plus clowns, plus ninjas, plus Steven Adler = AWESOME!
By Jeremy Azevedo
When two of the most notorious killers of all time are cloned in a secret government experiment, you can be that nothing good will come of it.
Unless by “something good”, you mean Dahmer Vs. Gacy, a bloody serial killing spree the likes of which haven’t been seen since Freddy Vs. Jason! But whereas Freddy and Jason are fictional characters, Jeffrey Dahmer and John Wayne Gacy are clearly the real deal!
Loose in a world filled with victims, Dahmer and Gacy engage in a horrific race to prove who is the better serial killer. When the government can’t stop them, they send ninjas. When ninjas can’t stop them, they send Steven Adler, the original drummer for Guns N’ Roses. When even that fails, everyone is pretty much f**ked until the two monsters inevitably take each other out.

Dahmer Vs. Gacy is currently showing at The American Film Market and is coming soon to late-night theaters and DVD!
We here at CraveOnline have made no secret of our general distrust of horror remakes and “re-imaginings”. However, many of us have a soft spot for Freddy Krueger, a horror villain whose films were only ever limited in scope by the filmmaker’s imaginations. No matter how outlandish any of the sequels became, I, for one, was there in the theater for each and every bloody installment.
The new trailer for the 2010 Nightmare on Elm Street is out, and it looks to b a return to the significantly darker and more terrifying original film (Versus the sillier later installments, i.e. “Dream Warriors” or “Freddy’s Dead”). Jackie Earle Haley (Rorschach in “Watchmen”) has a mighty big red and black striped sweater to fill, but from the looks of this preview, he may just be the right man for the part.
Behind the scenes with the villains of Arkham Asylum
One of the things that sets the upcoming Batman: Arkham Asylum game apart from other Batman games that we’ve seen is the setting… Why no one else has thought to place Batman in the very home of his all greatest enemies is really beyond me. In this video with the lead designers behind the game, we are introduced to the logic behind which villains were used in the game and why. Look for cameos by everyone from The Joker and Mr. Zsasz to Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Bane, The Riddler and Killer Croc!
“Gamer” is a new movie that looks like it might just be the modern equivalent of everybody’s favorite 80s action flick, “The Running Man”, as seen through the lens of our nation’s preoccupation with violent first person shooter video games.
The official synopsis reads as follows:
GAMER is a high-concept action thriller set in the near future, a time when mind-control technology has taken society by storm. Humans control other humans in a mass-scale, multiplayer online game. Reclusive billionaire Ken Castle (Michael C. Hall) has created the controversial form of entertainment, “Slayers,” a hugely popular game that allows millions to act out their innermost desires and fantasies - online - in front of a global audience. Gaming has evolved into a terrifying new dimension…mind control…manipulation…people playing people!
At the center is Kable (300’s Gerard Butler), the superstar and cult hero of “Slayers,” the savage, ultraviolent first person shooter game. Kable is controlled by Simon, a young gamer with rock star status who continues to defy all odds by guiding Kable to victory each week. Taken from his family, imprisoned and forced to fight against his will, the modern day gladiator must survive long enough to escape the game to free his family, regain his identity and to save mankind from Castle’s ruthless technology.

GAMER stars Gerard Butler (300, THE UGLY TRUTH), Michael C. Hall (“Dexter”), Amber Valletta (TRANSPORTER 2), John Leguizamo (RIGHTEOUS KILL, ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13) and Kyra Sedgwick (“The Closer”).
The new official trailer for Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is in, and it’s looking great! It’s even got original music by Ghostface Killah and MF Doom, which is pretty cool. It appears as if the game will retain the same art style and gameplay while scaling back the look to something that more closely resembles the first couple of PC GTA games from back in the day.
Also check out these new screens from the game, which show some of the on-foot shooting and driving action, as well as some of the DS specific touchscreen puzzles that will be implemented:
