Recently in Hollywood Snoop Dogg held an album release party for his new album, Malice N Wonderland. Snoop was not the only one celebrating though, it was also the 10th Anniversary Celebration for Travis Barker’s Famous Stars & Stripes clothing line. We went to the red carpet and talked to B-Real, Bizzy Bone, QD III, DJ Paul and others.
Mike Tyson, Snoop Dogg, Shane Mosley & Warren G on Fight Night Round 4
We were at The House Of Blues in Los Angeles earlier this week for the red carpet debut of EA’s Fight Night Round 4 for the Xbox 360, which is looking like the most realistic boxing experience one can possibly have without ending up in the hospital! While we were there we spoke with the people’s champ, Mike Tyson, current fan favorite “Sugar” Shane Mosley, 90s rap icon Warren G and Mr. Snoop Dee-Oh-Double-Gee himself. Check out our tour of the red carpet right here:
As an aside, my own personal favorite part of Fight Night 4 is the graphic depiction of fighers getting their ass knocked out in slow motion. Because that’s what boxing’s all about amirite? Check out some of these screenshots from EA that show just how awesome this year’s graphic engine is:
I’d also like to direct your attention to this gentleman that I have circled in this pic, os that you might enjoy how insanely stoked he is to watch Mike Tyson play a boxing video game in person:
Snopp Dogg kicks off his “Blazed and Confused” tour
Snoop Dogg is teaming up with Stephen Marley, Mickey Avalon and punk-raggae veterans Slightly Stoopid for the “Blazed and Confused” tour of North America, launching in Nevada on July 10th.
We were invited down to a Q&A with Snoop and Stoopid in the parking lot the “Happy Ending” bar in West Hollywood earlier this week, and though we didn’t get much video (we were only allowed to ask two questions because Snoop needed a 15 minute “smoke break” in the middle of our 30 min. session), we did get the general idea that Snoop has no idea what the hell the “Blazed and Confused” tour is, or who Slightly Stoopid even are for that matter… They just point him in a smoky direction and off he goes. As anybody with a substance abuse problem would tell you, you gotta admire that kind of comittment!
Anyway, here’s that interview with everybody’s favorite human fog machine, Snoop Dogg:
For added lulz, here’s a flier from a very unfortuantely titled benefit show that Slightly Stoopid did recently:
A “Slightly Stoopid Benefit for Autistic Children”? You don’t say!
