We talk to the director and star of our favorite Nintendo-themed online series.

Welcome to “Taco the Town”, the most delicious interview show on the Interwebs!

Because our studio is still hopelessly contaminated after our disastrous attempt to create a real, live, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, we’ll be talking to famous musicians, authors, comedians, “Avatar” fan fiction writers, actors, sentient Ouija boards and professional hand models in the one place that everyone can agree on: The Taco Stand!

Today we’ll be talking to Sandeep Parikh and Tony Janning, the director and star of “The Legend of Neil“, the immensely popular web series currently running on Atom.com. (You may also recognize Sandeep as Zaboo from “The Guild”, also starring Felicia Day). We talked to the guys about The Legend of Zelda, auto-erotic asphyxiation, how to write a good theme song, fairy sex and, of course, tacos. Check it all out right here, exclusively on CraveOnline!

Hey assholes! You can help Legend of Neil win at this year’s Streamys! The Streamys are kind of like the Oscars of web video, if the Oscars were held in a high school cafeteria with a cash bar. So really, they’re more like the Golden Globes. But that doesn’t make it any less prestigious! Visit Sandeep’s site, EffinFunny.com for a listing of nominations, and then head over to Streamys.org to make your submissions!

Snoop was not the only one celebrating though, it was also the 10th Anniversary Celebration for Travis Barker’s Famous Stars & Stripes clothing line. We went to the red carpet and talked to B-Real, Bizzy Bone, QD III, DJ Paul and others.

We talk to Oscar Lopez and Mark Grigsby at Machinima’s award show.

Last week, we attended Machinima’s “Inside Gaming Awards” show in Santa Monica. Clearly, the fan favorite developer at the event was Infinity Ward, who took home six trophies for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. We talked to Infinity Ward’s Oscar Lopez and Mark Grigsby about their win, what they thought of the competition, and their favorite killstreaks (both real and fictional).

We talk to the iconic entertainer about his unexpected return

Of all the things I thought I’d never see in this lifetime, chief among them was a live stage performance by Pee-wee Herman.

Exhibit A.

And so it was with great enthusiasm and a certain sense of disbelief that I attended the press conference at Club Nokia in which Pee-wee himself announced his detailed plans for “The Pee-wee Herman Show”, a live stage show set to run January 12-February 2 at the very same club. We learned that “The Pee-wee Herman Show” would be a full Broadway scale production and then some, due to the numerous puppet characters and bizarre set decorations that would have to be functional in real time. We also learned that Pee-wee is most likely immortal, because he looks just about the same as he did 20 years ago, even up close.

Pee-wee, now and then.

Director Alex Timbers spoke a bit about the narrative of the story and the decision to go with a more PG presentation than the original stage show, which was slightly more adult in nature. (Many people don’t remember this, but before he was a children’s show host, Pee-wee was doing HBO specials and Cheech & Chong movies.) Everyone agreed that part of the appeal of “Pee-wee’s Playhouse” was that it could be enjoyed by children, his or her parents, and stoner college kids in equal measure, so it made sense not to go too blue with the humor.

We investigate the strange origins of one of indie rap’s most promising duos

Welcome to “Taco the Town”, the most delicious interview show on the Interwebs!

Because our studio is still mostly underwater as the result of an ill-advised “Waterworld” stage play performance, we’ll be talking to famous musicians, authors, celebrity pets, fortune tellers, actors, hand puppeteers and models in the one place that everyone can agree on: The Taco Stand!

Today we’ll be talking to hip hop producer Exile and his latest project, Chicago MC Adad. Exile is best known for producing tracks for artists ranging and Mobb Deep and Ghostface to Jurassic 5 and Blu. Adad is a newcomer to the national scene that brings a fun, throwback style to the game, reminiscent of Pharcyde and Tribe. We talk to the duo about their upcoming album, their origins as artists, studying under the tutelage of “MC Raperman” and, of course, tacos. Check it all out right here, exclusively on CraveOnline!
