HOWEVER! The game looks and plays 1000 times better than you remember Mortal Kombat being, and may just signal a return to greatness for the series. We’ve got our hands on a few new screens that show a couple of new characters in addition to the already announced roster of Batman, Superman, The Flash, Sonya Blade, Scorpion and Sub Zero…
So you may have noticed Catwoman and Shang Tsung in these pics, as well as what appears to be Reptile getting his ass kicked up into the air (although that could also just be Sub Zero… hard to tell those palate-swapped ninjas apart sometimes!). We’ve also heard rumors that Green Lantern, Captain Marvel and possibly even Shao Khan will be involved. Other speculations point to Johhny Cage, Raiden and Wonder Woman, obviously. We’ll let you know when we know more! Fingers crossed for Hawkman! Caaaaaaaw!
